Casement Windows
A casement window is the most common type of window used in domestic situations.
A casement window is one which has friction hinges attached to the frame on one or more sides of the opening sash.
Casement windows were common in the UK before sash windows (see below) were introduced and were made of metal with glass held in place by strips of lead. They were cold and insecure.
Using modern materials, our Halo windows are secure, beautiful and comply with all building regulations through the Fensa registration scheme. They come with a ten year insurance backed guarantee as standard.
All our windows are made to measure and come in over fifty different colours. Aluminium or timber options are also available.
Sash Windows
Prefer the look of traditional sash windows but had enough of the poor security and draughts?
Sliding sash windows combine classic aesthetics with modern uPVC technology for superior efficiency and great looks. Vertically sliding and inwardly tiltable for easy cleaning above ground level. Secure by design with built in child restrictors and optional run through horns for the very latest authentic heritage look.
Choose from 5 traditional colours and even have a different colour on each side. See our online brochure for further details.
Flush Sash Windows
You can have the ultimate uPVC alternative to a timber window offering the style and aesthetics of a traditional wooden window with the benefits of modern uPVC window functionality.
Our flush casement windows provide the popular, traditional appearance of a timber window frame, but with all the advantages of a state-of-the-art uPVC profile. A stunning flush sash casement window with heightened levels of thermal efficiency, increased security levels all available in a wide range of colours.
Double glazed flush casement windows are the perfect choice if your home currently has wooden window frames that are tired and causing numerous problems.
Cold spots and a lack of soundproofing are one of the many disadvantages of timber windows which is why our uPVC flush casement windows make a fantastic alternative when it’s time to upgrade.
Bay & Bow Windows
Both bay and bow window designs extend an aspect of your property outward increasing the space inside and giving a more open airy feel to the room.
Bay windows are generally made up of 3 or 4 windows forming a more angular look and bow are made up of 5 or more and form a curved look.
They can be fitted in most wide window openings or planted onto existing bay brickwork. They can be made with sash or casement windows in any of our 50 plus coloured foils.
Tilt & Turn Windows
With Tilt & Turn, you get the flexibility about how you open your windows. They open inwards using a very nifty design that allows hinges on both sides of the pane, but don’t worry, there’s no compromise on security.
The design still allows for multi-point locking with roller cams and locking keeps to keep the frame and window anchored together when closed. And like the rest of the Halo range the glazing is beaded internally, preventing would be intruders from simply removing the glazing.
One additional safety feature to tilt & turn windows is that when tilted the windows also have a restrictor, an excellent safety device to keep pets and children safe.
